Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring is one of the most affordable and durable flooring options on the market today. It offers several benefits over their “real” counterparts. Here are some comparisons to ceramic tile and hardwood.

Laminate Flooring or Ceramic Tile?
Laminate is warmer and softer than ceramic tile underfoot. It is not as hard as ceramic tile and is so easy to clean, no grout lines! Laminate also costs less in the overall picture vs ceramic tile. For example, you may be able to buy a ceramic tile at $2.50 per square foot but that will cost you $6+ per square foot to install and you have to buy grout. Laminates may cost $2.50 per square foot and cost $2.50 to install – so make sure you are comparing product & installation when shopping around.

Laminate Flooring or Hardwood Flooring?
Laminate is easier to install than real hardwood flooring, you don’t need a saw out in your backyard or front lawn and some laminates are lock & fold which is even easier! Laminate is up to five times more scratch resistant than natural hardwood flooring. Add to that the affordable price and zero maintenance and we have a winner!
